Yes, it's that time of year again!
The Nominations and Elections Committee of NJASFAA Executive Council invites nominations for positions on the 2003-2004 Executive Council, and for the two NJASFAA Distinguished Service Awards.
The following positions are up for nomination:
- President-Elect (who will succeed to the Presidency in 2004-2005)
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer-Elect (who will succeed to Treasurer in 2004-2005)
- Council Member At Large (4 positions available)
We are also accepting nominations for the two NJASFAA Distinguished Service Awards:
- The Arthur E. Richmond Distinguished Service Award recognizes the outstanding contribution of an individual in the field of financial aid who has made significant contributions to our field through NJASFAA activities.
- The Thomas C. Scott Distinguished Service Award recognizes the outstanding contribution of an individual not directly involved in a Financial Aid Office to the field of financial aid and/or NJASFAA.
The list of prior award recipients can be found on the web site, within the Policy and Procedure Manual. Remember, an individual can only receive a NJASFAA Distinguished Service Award once.
The deadline for nominations for Executive Council positions and award recipients is Monday, March 3, 2003. Following the close of nominations, our on-line ballot will be assembled, and voting will begin shortly after.
I look forward to receiving lots of nominations!
