The NJASFAA Fall Conference... was a tremendous success based on the feedback from those who attended. |
Fall Conference 2002 The NJASFAA Fall Conference at Bally's Park Place in Atlantic City, NJ, from November 12th - 14th, 2003, was a tremendous success based on the feedback from those who attended. The new facility at Bally's was a welcome change from Harrah's and it more than met the expectations of the membership. The facility was spacious and well appointed with shops and restaurants, the meeting rooms were comfortable, the food was excellent, the casino was great and so was the entertainment. All in all, a very nice environment to spend a couple of days. The middle of the week schedule seemed to work out quite well too!The conference sessions provided a wide variety of topics to meet the needs and interests of all those that attended. Many of the sessions were held concurrently so that members were able to attend as many as possible. Topics included: Financial Aid Professionals and Everyday Ethics; Imaging in the Financial Aid Office; SFA Assessment - Quality Analysis Tools; High School Financial Aid Nights - Spreading the Word; EOF and Financial Aid - An Indispensable Partnership; How to Deal with Fraudulent Information, to name a few. ![]() The entertainment provided by Chase Bank and Education First was the Legends in Concert show at the Palace Theatre - Claridge. The impersonators provided an excellent respite from the working day. The dinner entertainment provided by the magician and hypnotist kept the audience laughing all evening. It was fun for all - even the "unsuspecting subjects". Thanks for volunteering. Time was allotted to network with friends and colleagues. Thanks goes out to all of the members of the Conference Committee, as well as all of the other volunteers that helped turn the Fall conference into a great success! Conference Chair - Debra Wulff |
