Rutgers University to Host National Default Prevention Listserv

Rutgers University recently announced that it will host a listserv designed to assist the student financial aid community help student borrowers avoid defaulting on their loans.

For the first time, financial aid administrators, lenders, servicers, and Department of Education personnel and their contractors will have a meeting place to openly discuss problems, solutions and best practices related to student loan default.

Anyone with an interest in delinquency and default is invited to subscribe. To do so, send an e-mail message to listserv@email.rutgers.edu. In the BODY of your e-mail enter

“subscribe default_prevention your name”.
