Clock hour training workshop - May 14, 2004 at Raritan Valley Community College.

Non-Traditional Concerns Committee

The Non-Traditional Concerns Committee serves as a resource and peer support group for the proprietary, nursing, and vocational-technical schools. We recognize that often the needs of the non-traditional community are unique and sometimes unmet. Therefore, we are pleased to announce a clock hour training workshop.

This workshop will be held on May 14 at Raritan Valley Community College. It is a full day workshop and will cover clock hour packaging, new federal guidelines for the Return of Title IV Funds, and a general question and answer session. Steve Tessitore from the US Department of Education will join us and assist in the training.

Registration for the training will open on April 20 on the NJASFAA website under the Training link. Registration is free for NJASFAA members. If you are not a NJASFAA member your $25.00 membership registration fee will afford you the training and membership in NJASFAA for the 2004-2005 year. If registering for membership please remember to also register for the workshop.

If you are part of the non-traditional community and have never attended one of our support meetings we encourage you to contact us at jbuttafuoco@mail.ocvts.org for details about our next meeting.
